General sharpening, farm equipment, tools , knives, scissors, mower blades.
Whetstone sharpening for high end chef and kitchen knives as high as 10,000 grit.
Custom knives and custom kydex sheaths for knives and tools.
Clean up rust, fix or replace damaged handles , fix broken tips and damaged edges.
Sharpening services
General sharpening is at a set price . Damaged tips , edge damage, and fixing a set bevel are each up charges to the set price. Up charges are $2 each.
- ,Chisels, other wood working tools, low end kitchen knives, low end scissors are $5 each plus up charges.
- High end Chef Knives and Salon scissors are done with wet stones and are $15 to $20 depending on condition and how much work needs to be put into the tool. We would discuss it before anything is done.
- General mower blades $7 each. Farm equipment prices depend on what it is and how bad it is, everything would be discussed before hand.
- Circular saw blades are $12 each.
- You bring Blade or tool to me and I can get it back to you with in a few days after it's finished, or you can pick up as soon as it's ready.
Restoration or Clean up work
If your looking to get a knife or tool restored, price is evaluated by extent of damage and what you are looking for as far as going from a 1 to a 10. We can go from completely stripping a tool down , new finish, new scales, new sheath, to just light rust removal and clean up. In all cases lots of pictures help for an estimate but i will need to see in person for a final price. Work does not start until we agree on a price.
